Picked this baby up on Saturday for £250, MOT till April, TSR 285mm disc conversion and a half decent respray.

It does have a conrod 'slightly' poking out the block though..


And I only went to the damm scrapyard for some rear doors for my van

 so what engines going in it ?

I am defo putting a 2.0 bottom end on - valver conversion can wait till next winter!!

my mate had a mark 1 gti 1.8 head and an audi 2.0 shortblock bottom end, was pretty damn torqy, didnt need ot rev it that much tbh
