« on: 11 January 2004, 17:51 »
I have come by a bosch KTS300 hand held scan tool  :D.
The problem is it has a fault  >:(.
Took it apart and there is a ic chip that is damaged, I am looking for some help locating a replacement. Have done the usual Google, RS and Maplin search with no luck. The no's on the chip are...
305A
W993A9535
ST
Any help please, Steve.

Steve,  I am going to the U.S. for a week starting next sunday and If I know there is a big radio shack store near where I'll be. I'd be happy to pick one up for you if they have one. If i remember right about all they stock is analog I/C's and 555 timer chips. Been a while since I've been there though. 305A is the commen number for it where as W993A9535 should be the vendors part number.  I think ST is the type of chip. (and,or,nor gate ) Thats about all I remember from digital electronics and advanced circuitry. Been 5 years since I took those courses so I could be wrong. lol.
