Glove box lock

At the weekend I managed to pull the handle off my glove box (d'oh!). I've ordered a new one but can't remember if the glove box is locked or unlocked at the moment. So basically is locked clockwise or anti-clockwise with the key? Just thought it best to find out before I go 'playing' with the screwdriver...

Had to do the self same thing myself last weekend!

And no I didnt know if it was locked or unlocked either! But I think its anticlockwise to unlock. But dont quote me on that!

Jobs a doddle once ya get the box open.
I paid £9.84 at my local VAG dealer coz Eurocarparts dont keep em instock!
