Red rocks in a mk2 when its red & not pink - dont buy a red car if, like me, you have no patience and cant be arsed cleaning/waxing every week - ill never buy another red car EVER

as for best colours....i prefer the royal blue in a mk2

bohenie, is it a syncro or just badged as one. if a proper then its rare model!!

i said that about red after my first one then for some reason bought another two! doh!

you cant beat a bit of royal blue

Hey Len looks like you may have competition here for oldest forum user

I'm not the oldest registered member anyway!

There was a guy a while back aged 63 and as I'm only coming up for 54 then I'm still young!
But I'd have to agree that this lovely lady from the clues so far could well be older than me!

Yep thats the one Neaty. He kept the Golf for a while coz his son didnt like it. But then his missus made him sell it coz it was too powerful for her!

Yeah that blue's fantastic  I think it's kinda funny to have ronal turbos on a supercharged car too  I'm sure technically all superchargers are turbochargers by definition (or else it's the other way round), car looks good either way!

Yep! i would have stuck with the Golf and made her drive it! Always tame the right foot!

Back on subject for a min.

To me its more the car than the colour anyway. For example I prefer tobz's car to Lewys!
