headlight warning & front fogs

Should my 1995 tdi tell me if I have left my head lights on???

also fog lights! when I pull the switch I get 2 leds light up but I only seem to have rear fogs are the front ones dummy's???

Should have a buzzer when you open drivers door.

Check the fogs by pulling them out and see if they are connected!

Thanks, any ideas where the buzzer is so I can check the wireing, also has any ever done a PDF of a haynes manual?

Gaz (knightrider) has CD for sale of the Bentley Manual in PDF format.
Its far more detailed than Haynes!

I don't have a buzzer on my 98R mk3 GTI, i heard somewhere that some have one others don't! As for the fogs, my friends car has no front fogs but the switch is the same and lights up both leds. They probably just put the wiring in for fogs on all cars...

Or maybe someone took the fogs off his car! Or changed the warning lights??
