After reading Rowlers topic I've got intersested in this.
What really are the benefits....just a shorter distance between the gears?
Is this worth it? $16 doesn't seem too bad if its any good!

It can help sometimes, but tbh you're only looking at a tenth of a second or two on the 0-60 dash. That of course is assuming you can do textbook gearchanges all the time, and in any case the mk2 gearboxes hardly have massive gaps between gears.
