HARDCOR3..
« on: 24 October 2006, 22:59 »
Hi there, just registered with the site and always been a fan of mk1 & 2 gti's, however not so much 3's 4's or 5's.

watched this video the other day http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfLmUbKs5HA&mode=related&search=
and its seriously made me have an urge to get a mk4 20VT and have a bash at fibreglassing.

At the mo im jobless and skint though so i dont see it happening too soon, (dont think a bank will lend me 5k to buy a car without a job!) although its given me a kick up the arse to go find one quicker :P

Anyhow just browsing over the site and in the projects section! (after spending 4 months re-shelling my AX GTi with a VTi (have VTR have AX GTi) engine and a bunch of other bits, nothing bodywork related though :) i love to have a ganders at other peoples projects!) i came across a post by 'HARDCOR3' and his mk3 looked superb, we need to see more pics dude! its looking superb (even without a finished coat of paint!), keep up the good work bro !! I'd love to have a bash at fibreglassing! however on a 5k car , im a bit dubious, considering my last 2 cars cost £250 and £1800 lol.

i'm 19 at the moment with 2 yrs NCB, and im 20 soon so i dont think insurance would be a problem, considering i can get insured on an AX with a VTS engine and a handfull of other mods. *big smile*

Anyhow think i'll end the essay now, just thaught i'd say hi and i am loving dub, and admire all the work that goes into the super smooth cars out there ! Awesome projects :)

sweet,

although i cant find any other 'project' topics of people smoothing their car :(

Ive done engines, suspension & brakes on my AX lol id just like a bit of comfort from now on, and my 200lb coilovers & group n bilsteins are definatley not doing my back any good for the roads round here :(  honestly its incredibly sucky to drive lol.

yeah man that car went a while back,it looked the nuts tho when it was finished! hes had another vr and sold that since then but i'll let him tell u about that when he gets home as he'll be at work now, where i should be to give him a hand!!!

this is the last pic i have of this car, defo shouldve got a feature after all the graft that went into it,this was all done on his drive.except the paint which is a whole other story!!not ure usual cheque book motor this, all done by his own hand which then got all of us telling him to get a business set up,and now he has! HARDCORE DUBZ in cosmetic matters!
