Front Fog Lights

right i'm buying a GT TDI 150 in about ono week but wanted to check something before i hand over the cash.

if checked the sticker and its got the 110kw so no worries there.

the question is should it have front fog lights? parkers say that it should have then as standard from lunch to sep 2003 but i can't remember seeing a switch for them when i test drove it. i found the rear fog (pull out the light switch)

now the car has xeonos and looks very much like



except i don't remember seeing the in bumber lights.

if any one can let us know if it should have them or why it wouldn't and how hard is it to fit them if it doesn't

anyone had any experience with this sort either

Picture youve shown looks like R32 xenons, with double orange indicators. almost all golfs ive seen have fog lights built into the main head lamp, instead of having 2 indicators it is one fog and one indicator either side...
The bumper ones are after market, i bought some for mine as u can see in my sig, but took em off because a lot of people wouldnt advice using these on turbo cars... there is an intercooler on the driver side behind the bumper and it blocks some of the air going to it...

yeah those are the ones i saw on flea bay. i take it you wouldn't want to restrict the air for a TDI either then?

IIRC the car has double orange indicators although i though it was just the filter showing through at the time. do you know if you can get  fogs to replace one of the double indicators?

also on an mark 4 with front fogs is the switch on the main light dial or else where if anyone could post a pic of there dial that would be sweet.

I have had the E-bay front fogs on my Turbo for over a year now without any problems. The front fogs come on when you pull the round light switch out one notch. The rear fog light comes on on the second notch

the intercooler doesnt sit behind those vents on PD150's, so no worries there.

well it sound like it doens't have front fogs then

can only assume its something to do with the fact its got xenons.

how hard are those ebay kits to fit, and can you get them so they work off a differnt switch / replace the existing switch so you can have the front fogs on without the rear?
