Esso premium (97 RON) Fuel

Hi all,

Since getting my GTI it has only had Vpower (and £10 of BP ultimate)

To get the VPower is not usually a problem. as I go past a shell on the way to work. However, Just down the road from my house is an Esso and they have a 97 RON (sorry, forgot what they call it) super unleaded.

Is it as good as vpower and ultimate?

V-power is 99 RON so you should see a marked improvement if you use it in both performance and power  :wink:

Well, they are the same price - 92.9 so it will be a 5 mile detour to get Vpower.

bp ultimate is also 97, but they do a 102 RON but you do need to re-mortgauge for a tankfull!!!

My local shell garage fuel is 86.9 for some v power wonder juice!!! aint i a lucky fella!
