oil temp senser

i am having a problem with the oil temp reading it goes up to 102 when in traffic can anyone advise me what the max reading should be i have changed the oil pressure switch will i need to get it re programed at vw

the oil pressure has nothing to do with the temp of the oil!!! thats normal in traffic mine goes to 112 when i'm having agood thrash in it!!!! but it soons cools down as soon as i stop!

according the vw owners manual you should not let it go beyond 145!!! but the highest ive got mine is about 120 or 128 its never gone into the 130's......

but up to 145 it says slow down if it gets to this!
this must be for autobahn users!!!!!
102 thats totaly normal!
