new bee saying hi
« on: 16 October 2006, 21:47 »
Hi all...

as you can see am new here but not that new to owning VW, i use to own a red mk2 golf GTi 8v "some time ago" and Iv recently bought a 1995 golf vr6 and i must say am well chuffed with it  but the car needs ab it of TLC as the previous owner"s" haven't  really looked after it to well, by that i mean the alloy wheels have been curbed, scratches on the bumper ,was low on oil when i checked it (minimum marker) "from cold" but the engine starts, sound, runs as fit as what she would have from the factory... the paint has started to bubble round the arches were the lip has been grind ed miner scratches on the shell..
but any way i think a good body shop should sort all that out with a full respray and as for the alloys I'll get them refurbished. and as for all the engine service I'll carry that out me self so i know its all been done to my satisfaction..

thanks for reading and good buy for now
