Fitting an R32 grill to a standard Golf
« on: 15 October 2006, 21:11 »
Firstly, apologies if this thread has been done before. I did a search on it but wasn't able to find anything.

Basically, does anyone know if it's possible to fit an R32 grill to a standard Golf (1.6FSI 5 Dr)?

Anyone had any experience of this, and how much it's likely to cost?

Be grateful if anybody could point me in the right direction as to how to go about getting this done.

You would need to change the whole front bumper

Techically possible but why?

Incidentally, mid 07 will see the facelift Golf MK V which is probably going to have the Jetta front end (very similar to R32 obviously).  I would wait until this comes out and if you have to change your cars nose, have a look at the bits on the facelift.  In my opinion a 1.6SE with an R32 nose would look odd. Wait for the facelift and model yours on this.

Just my thoughts....
