do a search or look in the mk3 section. God only knows how many times this has been covered. 40mil with 17s is more than enough!

thats the best mk3 ive seen..ever! its just clean and subtle..

I'm down low on 17's and have had to cut back bumper, arches and I've had the rear axle moved back a bit to stop the rubbin on the front of the arch....lot of work but seems ok now :undecided:

we're having this dilemma at the moment...  I've got some Team Dynamics Diablos in 17x7.5 with 205 tyres.  They're not on the car yet as i'm waiting to get it lowered.

I was going to just buy springs and lower 35mm on standard shocks but reading round i'm being told to go for uprated shocks too.

So... i was going to buy a 60/40 setup from ebay with shortened shocks..  Has anyone used the Supersport 60/40 suspension from Goingfast on eBay?

So are you guys saying 60/40 will cause problems with 17' wheels??  I don't actually know the offset of the wheels but they're available from GSF so i assume they're correct for a MK3.  The guy i bought them off had them on his MK3 VR6 and said his car was lowered 60mm without any problems...

Help before i make a mistake..

hi can someone advise on this please as we're keen to get the car sorted and get the wheels on but don't want to go 60mm at the front if people with experience are saying it's a no no on 17s..

cheers
