Just filled up for the second time earlier this week - 28mpg. Mostly shortish urban running but some A roads as well. Engine still tight and never been over 4000 rpm. Currently only got 500 miles on the clock !

I average around 35mpg. But can easily get 40mpg on long run at very sensible speed.
Very impreesed with the economy for such a powerful car.

Nah, live in Manchester.  Most of my journeys involve some motorway but also at rush hour.  I don't drive like an old woman - honest  :embarassed: but I haven't really pushed it too hard yet.  However, going up to Scotland this weekend so the running in will be pretty much done.  And I've only put VPower in it too.

Just cracked 34 mpg with Vmax from Shell!!!  That was a 500 mile round trip to the west country....  Quality result from sensible driving, my average is around 28.....

Is there a difference between DSG and manual?  Be interesting to see the stats

Mine's a manual and averaging 34-ish?  City roads, motorway at rush hour, aircon on all the time (although it ain't warm so the compressor shouldn't be draining much power)
