Thats off parkers and thats bollox.
The only way that will happen is if the oil pump fails, that will happen if you don't change the oil regularly, as the pick up pipe will get clogged up with sh!t.
That could happen on any golfs as they use similar lubrication systems.

to get  a sudden drop of pressure it must be fcuked in the first place!

it should never wear if theres oil lubricating it!!!
good oil that is! api sj, sf, /cf......... ACEA A3/B3

i recomend valvoline maxlife!!!!
