 will this steering rack fit mk3?

hi i have golf mk3 gti 2.0l 8v 1994 and my stering rack is leeking.

i have found GENUINE VW steering rack for the 1984-1992 VW GOLF part number 191 419 063B and i have checked on etka mk3 golf has a part number 191 419 063C, so its just the last letter which is defferent.

the late mk2 has used both steering racks with B and C letter.

i don`t know what does it mean but the steering rack with letter B has remarks 40z and the one with letter C has remarks 18z (thats what`s on etka).

will this be still ok for my mk3?

I don't know for sure, but I'd be suprised if it did fit.  You'll want a Mk3 one if you expect it to just bolt on.

thanks, i`ll get mk3 one as i have alredy lots of problems with the car and don`t want to get anather one.

where are you from bud? ive got a mk3 2.0 8v gti that im breaking so if its the steering rack you need and ure close u r welcome to make me an offer,ud have to get it off tho!  im in lincolnshire!

thanks but jut found out i will need LHD steering rack as my car is LHD.
i have to ship it from my country then.
