When I drove the civic type r from my old work I wasnt impressed at all by the brakes, especially when u need to anchor on after you have just got in to the top rev band.

I thought the steering was particularly good though, pin sharp and very direct

theres a good 13ps power difference there plus the power comes in alot earlier than 7250rpm, so I would hope so too.

well mr civic has bottled it , talkin to him today he said 'your very confident youd beat me', 'yes i said if i dont beat you ill be on your bumper..' then he got on his defencive as in 'youve got nothing to loose...' ' if i get beat by a £500 ebay car ill never live it down'... 'lifes a b!tch, so we still racin... nah not yet, i wanna have a drive in your car 1st to see what im up against'....

so on the thursday night mr civic is taking my vr6 for a spin to see how it feels.... if it feels grunty hes gonna bottle it rather than get humiliated at work (£500 car vrs £9k or what ever car..) if it feels slow i think its game on... so im gonna pull 2 plug leads off before he drives it.... will still probs get my a55 kicked if we do race but hey its the fear factor... lol
