they cut off the plugs!!!! I would of gone ape sh1t at them!!! if they bought/fitted the correct pads the plug would of fit!! I bought pads from halfrauds last year for my car and even they had the correct fitting plug!!

Tell me about it,
I've looked into it and it turns out that the golf low pad warning system works the opposite way than any other car I've seen before, ie the circuit is closed when the pads are fine and go's open circuit when they go low.
Luckily enough I have been back to the garage and they still had the old pads with the plugs attached so I have had to bodge it myself for the time being and when I get some proper pads I'll put them back on.
Cann't understand how the low warning can work though. Any other low warning pads I've seen have the wires going part through the pads and when they get low they touch the discs and create a closed circuit these obviously work the opposite but I can't see how.
Any body know just for curiositys sake?
