Too true Phil, I just thought on a new car they might oblige and fit the things. It'll be in the garage anyway! Fitted for free would mean I'm good to drive drive drive when she finally arrives!

From the pictures kindly uploaded by overthehill, doesn't the front mudflap look like it will rub and scratch the frong wing in time?

Did anyone ever come up with a fitting guide for mudflaps?

I fitted mudflaps to my car last weekend. to be honest I probably spend about 3 hours in total, all wheels need to come off the car. I tried fitting one of the fronts with the wheel still on the car but turned away as much as possible and it does work but quicker to take them off to get better access. The flaps come with really good instructions step by step and its not really a difficult task. Go for it if you are thinking of doing it yourself, and ask me any questions you want. Can give more detail if required. People mentioned the fronts damaging the paintwork but this will not happen because once fitted they do not move and they ar emade of softish rubber too.
