AMD remap?

Hi

I'm considering getting an AMD stage 2 conversion (ECU remap + Milltek exhaust), the only thing stopping me is the warranty issue. I spoke to Amd and they said that theres a VW and an Audi dealer who will warranty the work.

Has anyone had any experience of the AMD remap and if so did they get it done via the VW dealer or direct from AMD?

Any comments appreciated

Not to sure if it will help, but we had our old Octavia chipped with the dealers knowledge at jabbasport in Peterborough.  The chip will effect your warranty, but if you've a decent dealer then they'll be ok with it.  How friendly is your dealer and where is the one that AMD SAY (check out) is ok?
