Just registered and checking in with you all. Picking up my new Shadow Blue GTI on Saturday afternoon so will, no doubt, be pinging you with the odd question or two in the weeks to come. Looking forward to an entertaining drive again after 4 years in a Honda CR-V (immensely practical and reliable but just average to drive). The Honda had an excellent web community and I'm sure after lurking for a few days this will be just as good.
What have I got? It's a 56 Reg DSG, leather, 18 inch wheels, Luxury Pack, multi CD and cruise control. Now for my first question, the dealer has also fitted the Ipod adapter but I have a Sony HDD Walkman and the plug on the adapter didn't look particularly Sony friendly, so am I right in thinking the Ipod accessory is Ipod only?
