Painting grill
« on: 04 October 2006, 14:38 »

I've just brought a de bagged grill for my car and was wondering how easy it is to colour code it with the rest of the car and where to get the paint from?

Cheers

depends on your spraying skills. if in doubt ,pay someone.

if you want paint go to a place that mixes it, you'll find them in yellow pages.

I did mine and found it easy!

Find your paint code, there are threads around that give the popular ones, or look inside the boot and there should be a sticker below the hatch catch.

Get the paint in a spray can from VAG dealer.

A good primer paint and some wet & dry paper and away ya go!

Best get it from dealer if you want a good match. Depends how good your car is for colour now!

Yes the primer from Halfords is o.k.
