OTH,
can you please show a pic of the Kenwood in situ. I was thinking of buying the IPOD link for the centre armrest but could be tempted by an aftermarket headunit. Excuse my ignorance but what is a canbus adaptor?

In simple terms most of the electrical items on the golf have a controller that sits on a central bus - Controller Area Network Bus. Instead of hard wired connections to each other they send signals. Anyway, the CAN-Bus adaptor should allow me to use the steering wheel controls with the DDX-6029. Hope this helps

This is the unit on showing the track title from the iPod. Unfortunately, it can only display track title, and not artist. Also, I have it so it powers out slightly to an angle
This is off, when it powers back into the flat position
