Please Help....I Broke the Golf, Gear Linkage Issues :(

Yep...after our chat yesterday i think we should include any form of VW from my list of owning rights as ive managed to break the golf.

Was fitting a Shift Shifter kit to the gearlinkage and now cant select gears....Ive put everything back togeather the way (i think) it should be but cant get any gears, the leaver just wobbles about and doesnt select anything.

Ive read in a few places about re-aligning the Linkage as i managed to pull everything appart by accident. Anybody Know if this is the answer? If so how is it done? and what do i need to twiddle / play with?
