Buying a mk 3 golf

hey folks am just new to the site,.. lookin through some of the dubs on heer can see u folks really no ur stuf,... am thinkin about buyin a mk3 1.9 td mk3 golf,... how much u think a good one will cost and is there anything i shood watch out for.

just about to turn 17 and really wantin a golf with a bit of ompfh so thought a turbo desil would be ideal

To get an idea of how much, have a look on autotrader and see what they go for now. I reckon a tidy one should set you back between £800 to £1200 or so.

Unless you have your heart set on a Mark 3 why not a Mark 2 1.6 driver. I had one of those as my first car and was quite nippy and wasnt too much to insure either.

ad prefer a mk 2 actualy but there so blody hard to find with low miles as a can afford an engine rebuld yet lol
