central lock happens when exceed a set speed

how do i make this happen. stealer wants to charge me about £30 so when i go over 10mph, the doors lock automatically.

anyone know of a DIY method of doing it so i dont have 2 incur this cost? i dont have a vagcom.

maybe the Doc knows something.

I took mine in this week to have the alarm looked at as it gets set off by buses and I got them to do it for free.  Probably best to get them to do it when they are doing something else, like a service?
Also VW called it anti highjack.

Yes - you can set this via the MFD - cannot remember how (there are so many options!) but mine is set and working fine - activates at 10mph and deactivates on removal of ignition key.

I was messing around with my MFD menu last night, so how do you activate this door locking - on the go business??
As long as one has his health, and is standing vertically above ground,then everything else in life is a bonus..

It'll take the dealer 5 mins and why they think they can charge you is a pi55 take!!!  try another dealer.......

Just managed to do mine, free of charge... mines a CD based sat-nav with the high-line.
As long as one has his health, and is standing vertically above ground,then everything else in life is a bonus..

i dont have any computer stuff. just the golf s. so need a more manual way of doing it.
