How to remove front Golf mk3 seats ???????

Exactly hos do i remove the front seats..... ? Where are the bolts ?

Just a wild guess here coz I honestly dont know but on most cars they are under the top bit of the runners.

So ya have to do it in two parts, slide em right back and do the fronts, then slide em right forward and do the back bolts!

I wait to be corrected.

Remove the plugs at the back of the rails the seat slides in (one next to centre console is quite long, one next to sill is short but a pain in the arse to pull out), remove the nut/bolt or funny clip thing (apparently varies depending on model - my VR6 had a funny clip) at the front of the seat in the middle, and then the seat just slides all the way backwards out of the rails.

I replaced the driver's seat in my VR6, so yes I have done this...
