driver issues, again.
« on: 26 September 2006, 12:02 »
Recently replaced the anti roll bar eye bolt bushes, bit unsure which way the lower bush and washer are supposed to go on on tho? Anyone got a piccy or good desc of how they go?
Also we've always had a problem with the cars handling, the car seems very keen to dive to the left and when ur really pushing the car it seems very vague, almost detached and unpredictable. We had the tracking done at kiwkfit but u know what they're like!  Ive just had the car up on some axle stands and noticed that if one wheels is pointing straight ahead the other isn't, by quite a lot. Surely this cant be right?

like this ...

Computer games don't affect kids, I mean if Pac Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching pills and listening to repetitive music.

Don't buy febi ones, they're utter rubbish!
If you need new bushes I'd advise fitting poly ones to your old drop links, unless they're screwed.  In that case get em from your dealer!

got some from the dealer :-)   Took it back to kwikfit today and found out one of the track rod bolts had seized, the last guy just didn't bother his arse to sort it! All sweet now though, the roll bar bushes are on right and the tracking is finally sweet!
