3 door gti how much does it weigh?????

am curious cause my mk3 is completely stripped out no carpet or roof lining

so i wanted to know how much they weigh standard so i can see how much weight it's lost

Sure it aint a light as that! There should be a plate on the crossmember in front of the radiator.

Thought my 5 door is about 1300 kg and a 3 door is only about 60 kg less.

i did look in haynes so it'sprobably wrong.

My instruction/owners manual states it as 1165kg for the 3 door and 1195kg for the four door. That's unladen weight.  It also states that that's for the basic model and once you start adding ac, lecky windows, airbags etc, the car gets heavier(obviously!!)  That's also the stats for the 8v. The 16v and vr6 are heavier still.
