hey, first post on this forum, now i know there are loads of post about the pierburg's but none seem to have the same problem. i have a mk2 1.6 golf driver, and when i came to turn the car on the other day, the revs shot up to about 3.5-4k (no rev counter) and ever since its virtually undrivable as the revs are so high i dont wanna blow the engine, i had a look and it appear the secondary chamber is stuck open, so i pushed it back in hoping it was just jammed, but that didnt work, so i took the vacum hose off to feel for suction, and there as nothing there, so i think the vacum has pack up, now eventually i will be swopping it with a weber, but for the time being a need a qiuck fix to get to work and back, so i asked around and apparently i can use the vacum from the primary chamber and just buy a 2 way splitter, so i can run both chambers off the one vacum, only problem im having is finding the primary vacum and all the right hoses etc, ive only had the car a few weeks and is highly different to my capri engine LOL which i could take apart no problems lol.
any help would be cool,
cheers,
