« on: 19 September 2006, 15:14 »
Hope to god I get a GTi in november, because over here in Germany, good old V-Power is 100 RON!!! WOOT WOOT!

Sorry to rub that in guys, but I have to celebrate just about the only good thing about living in Germanland all my life.....

That and the fact that my GTi will be tax free !!!

At £2.40 a litter I'm not driving down there to get some. V-power is pretty good though. Could you run an octane booster like millers with V-power or would that mess up the mapping?

im not sure if the revo SPS3 is fully functional for the mk5 ecu yet, but on mk4's you could use the obd switch module to adjust timing/boost allowing you to run an octane booster safely.
