Thanks for all the positive remarks guys - I think this colour really suits the car too!

2 bay is the way to go BUT I do park it miles away from the entrance!

Spec:

R32 3 door in reflex silver
DSG 'box
DVD navigation
Lux Pack 2
Winter Pack
Leather Trim
Cruise

I didn't want the reverse park sensors this time as I think the VW ones look  and ruin the look of the rear, so I 'll be fitting my own - watch this space!

Benn lurking for about 2 weeks now - picked up my r a month ago. I missed the cruise off my order and the rear park sensors .. now realise I should have got both. Looking forward to your rear park sensors session - what make etc are you considering - I've seen on other sites the laserline which look great - but my local fitter is taking the ... supply colour code and fit £300

that's very nice, not been a fan of them until now. as hardcor3 said - the grille is almost hidden against the silver paint and it makes the whole car look better for it
08.03.10 - 3, maybe 4 weeks, and I want my golf back on the road!

Hi,

Been thinking bout the parking sensor myself, these are expensive but seem to have a hidden extra feature...   http://www.ukspeedtraps.co.uk/laserpropark.htm

Nice jam-jar doc, looks as good as my GTI (almost!!!)

I'll be fitting the STEEL MATE reversing sensors in the black panel either side of the exhaust.

You can have cruise control retro fitted by VW for £150 btw!

Look's alot better in silver. Best thing about the car still the DSG paddle down shift when your on one, the v6 sounds sweet. Wish they did it in rear wheel drive.
03 210 Seat LCR. Badger5 V2.2TIP, Fordge 007p, Wellycooler, Quaife ATB LSD, Nuespeed ARB's, KW Clubsports, 330mm discs, 3" turbo back de cat and still on the standard map!

Sorry to hijack your new car thread, but is that £150 for VW to fit VW parts inclusive of labour?

If so, im gonna have it!!!

Also, do you know if you can retro fit the highline computer?
