Grills
« on: 18 September 2006, 18:40 »
Hi, newby here. Ive just bought a 3 door mk2 8v. Its the second GTI ive owned and Ive really fallen for these cars again. Theres a few  small issues with the car but overall its a great, useable machine. Just have question about the badgeless grills. Are they that easy to fit? what happens to the two lights you remove? and wheres the best place to buy one from?

many thanks

todd

Just un plug the 2 inner lamps and remove them with the old grill, then you can try this place for a new one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-Golf-MK2-2-II-Debadged-Grill-Badegless-High-Quality_W0QQitemZ140030114440QQihZ004QQcategoryZ23009QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

the FK on bonrath grills are ok, and most VW parts places so them, lok in Golf+ or PVW magazines.
Very easy to change.
