« on: 03 January 2004, 18:58 »
on my mk4 diesel the light for the glow plug started flashing. i found out that the reason was that the brake lights are not coming on (including the middle one). i dont think its the swith seizing up 'cos it wouldnt show up. would it be the fuse or broken switch? AND i cant narrow down onto which fuse is for the brakes! can somebody help?! THANKS

Replace the brake light switch, this will fix both faults. The glow plug light is a mil for the the engine management (b/light switch is connected to eng managenent).
