im just about there (MORE PICS)
« on: 13 September 2006, 19:56 »
well i have had my white golf off the road a year now
and finally things are looking great nearly achieved what i wanted to do.

i dont have a pc as it gave up few weeks ago not had time to sort it or replace it
so i aint been on the site much

but car comes home tomorrow from bodyshop ill try my best to get some pictures
but its had a full respray still kept it white as inside was really clean and i painted engine bay
before lump went in.

i have had sprinter vent put in the wing and some welding work it needed
the rear vw badge and the tow eye cover on rear bumper has been flushed
had wing welded where the aireal used to be,
mirrors have been colour coded

g60 arches for the front when i pick them up tomorrow, vr6 front splitter
think thats about it

still got crappy wheels on until i can afford some good ones

tell me what you all think when i get some pics uploaded

right here is some more pics i taken earlier on

this is picture fo the rear you can see tow eye is flushed out and the rear badge

i got round the window painted instead of buying a new sticker as they cost quite a bit

closer view of where tow eye used to be

had bonnet modified so engine does not rub as i aint fitted corrado rear mounts on the engine

here is a better view of the sprinter vent

the wing has been filled where aireal used to be and had mirrors colour coded

just pic of car with spoiler back on it

here is a pic of the engine its dirty and needs tidying up job for next week

and how it is at the moment dont want it getting dusty now
