Colour Coding A Mk 2
« on: 11 September 2006, 17:12 »
I'm thinking of going where many men have been before (no not pamela's a*se hole!)... colour coding my entire Golf

Anyone who has the lastest (October 2006), issue of Golf + please turn to page 77 and check out the purple Golf. I think it looks awesome!

Getting bored with the look of my Golf and wat something different ready for Spring next year. Also getting tired of having to keep putting on back to black on faded plastic only for the rain to wash it off  So bumpers, side sills and arches all to go purple.

What's everyones thought on this?

one some cars it suits it (joes black golf) and some other colours.

But on other colours it look's cheap. I don't think it looks great on tornado red.

On yours it'd look ace i think!

Yeah, mainly darker colours that suit it imo. Yours is dark enough to pull it off, will look great! Go for it.

Cheers for you say guys n girls!

I like the OEM look too but i'm just sick and tired of having to treat my bumpers everytime i was it or when it rains to make the look good!

So got a quote of £400 to colour code all the black plastic on the exterior of the car, which i thought was very reasonable?

Oh by the way think there is some confusion on the colour of my car? It's purple not black
