Just wanted to say hello to you all. I'm a new GTi owner from Egham in Surrey. I got myself a 1998 S-reg metallic black Golf GTI 1.8 Turbo three weeks ago and I am loving it. After years of driving various crappy cars, it's great to have such a stylish, well-built and fun machine. My car is absolutely bog standard, with no mods, no spoilers or skirts, standard issue alloys, and black Recaros (I'm tall, so I love those extendable seats). I never really got the whole modification scene, I now have an unusual urge to change the look of my GTI in some stylish way. Any suggestions would be appreciated! I'm already tempted by the chipping option.
