Latley ive noticed that when i park say i have to park in a space and reverse in if i dip the clutch my brake lights come on, then if i pump the clutch pedal 3 or 4 times the probs stops. Is this a common fault? What causes it?And how can i correct it?

i'd guess , and i may be wrong, that its some sort of wiring/switch fault on the brake pedal and the clutch pedal disturbs it.

Something must be disturbing the brake light switch mounted on the brake pedal.
