as long as your carb opens all the way then no need to worry. Its an asthetic problem 
If you want the pedal to be level you want a taller pedal stop, otherwise you risk stretching/snapping the cable whenever you floor it.
Ah ha, yeh had thought, he carb does open and clsoe perfectly well, youve seen my pedal, it doesnt grind anymore luckily
Oh and ive lost that disgusting noise and impossibility to start for 30seconds, changed the rubber block/flange between carb and mani the old one had blown a hole right through solid rubber
