chin up bro, mine has spent alot of time sat in my garage over the last few months, i must admit i was pritty gutted too but that was only because at the time i didnt have the cash to splash on sorting it out! at the end of the day you will have a sweet and fast mk1! just keep at it!

I'm feeling this pain too...my 16v Golfs been off the road since March (TAX / MOT expired and needed a bigger car at the time)and its sat there on the drive just begging to go and just awaiting a bit of cash and TLC...driving the family tank BMW just bores me to sleep (even with 211bhp - mostly required to shift its lazy fat ass of the drive!) and the wifes Corrado makes me miss it more

I think mine flipped me the bird when i left her in her retirement home for the long run.

I miss her like crazy, i haven't even missed a missus like i am missing my motor. (no wonder i am single  )

maybe i should go to bed, but the reason still stands, i miss my car like crazy, and it's only been 4 days.
