where does everyone attach there harnesses too?

The shoulder/rear one attaches to the rear seatbelt point but where do you all attach the two lap ones?

thanks

might be a bit different in the golf but in my mini the lap belts were attached to the existing seatbelt anchors and the rears were hook and eye'd to the floor. Hope that helps

I was wonderin the exact same thing? Obviously like you said the shoulder one goes in to the rear seat belt anchor, but where do you safely attach the lap ones i thought maybe the original mountings but they dont look easily accesible  :undecided:

PM matt16v and he'll tell you, we did it on his but i didn't take much notice.

We anchored the side ones (door side) to the bit that hold the bottom of the seatbelt there, and i think the other one to where the seatbelt plug sat. Shows on picture. Bottom left and bottom right of the seats.

but one wouldn't work so we ran in under the carpet and did it to the other side.

At the e38 i saw some people attach the rear one to the very back seatbelt golder. (above parcel shelf) Looked ok.
