according 2 my mfa readings im only doin 16 miles 2 the gallon on my 2.08v 1992 what can i do 2 help this

What type of running do you do to get that mpg, if it's round town that's about what i get but should be 35ish on a run.. I do have picture's when i was leaving vw festival where my mfa said i was doing 2.6mpg!!!!!
Another thing to consider are you filling up more caus i know the mfa can go faulty (my last golf did and that said i was doing 80mpg on a run)

yeh mate its round town and down a few lanes n that only just got the car so cnt tel u if im filling up more will c how many miles i get 2 a tenner and report back
