new racing mirrors

wassup everyone. basically i recently fitted a pair of M3 style FK mirrors with indicator strips to my mk2, which looked mint. sadly they were so useless i was worried i was gona kill myself so had the factory ones refitted. can anyone recommend a pair of RHD mirrors that are actually functional? thanks a million

I think you are pretty much stuck with the factory mirrors. They do a good job. Every aftermarket mirror I have seen doesn't do worth a sh1t and looks out of place. :)

If it is any help to anyone wanting factory electric mirrors Golf Heaven quoted me 125 quid for 90 spec elec/heated mirrors for mine including the switch and wiring. sounds a bit to the high side for used parts but thats just me. I have the email still if anyone wants it. :)

Well I managed to pick up a set with loom for ?35, but thats cos I'm a lucky btard ;)  Considering the glass is ?40 for driver and ?35 for the passengers alone ?125 is a good price!

i think the dtm mirrors look good on a mk2 golf if you got the racing style look

now thats a good idea !!! i've seen some mirrors off i think what's called a honda blackbird motor bike and they looked nice . it was on a mk1 though :(
