yeah, I went in to see the salesman in mid afternoon on the 1st Nov ...he did say someone had ordered one earlier that day!

Black Monza2 wheels are OK, I guess...much prefer the silver BBS "Pescara" style though

They reckoned they would get their demo in by mid Jan, with initial customer cars to follow by late January to mid Feb
I'm probably looking to take March 1st delivery...unless the wait gets too much for me!!

Yes the wait......but i think your right march the first is the sensible option!

The pescara wheels are nice, but having had experience with these type of wheels they are a b#gger to clean.

Have you tried autoglym clean wheels?

Normally you just spray it on and jet wash it off

I'm planning on those 19" Air 2 BBS things - can't remember the full name but they look a bit like the BBS CH alloys.  All for the sake of saving around 22kg from the weight. Everything counts
Mk1 GTI Campaign, Mk5 GTI Edition 30, Mk6 GTI (Coming Soon...)

Don't actually know what type you mean but saving weight by non existant wheels should save alot more than 22kg!
Have you decided by the size? - my best research is coming up with 8.5X19" with 235/35 tyres
