How do I fit engine stand to 8v gti digifant engine

Hi,

I have just bought an engine stand from ebay to help me carry out some work on my engine.

I have put the stand together and have tried fitting to engine however the four metal pipes on the face of the engine stand dont fit anywhere on the engine.

Any ideas?

you need to use longer bolts, and thread them into the gearbox mounting holes

i striped the head off and a few other bits then i used  the old cylinder  head bolts......but it nearly crippled me lifting it up and sliding it on even with out the head off  ( you have to have a foot on one of the legs or its a bit more of a struggle, tries to tip back wards.
