Hi,
I've been driving my 1.8T since June and I think it's a good car but I can't help to think it's a little woosy on power. It's advertised as 150BHP and to be honest it seems more like a 120BHP. So, this has led me to conclude that there may be something wrong, I thought possibly the hoses between the turbo and erm... something may have become cracked or detatched. So this morning I went out to take a look, and you know what, I can't even find the Turbo!

I know it's there as I can feel it kick in around 2500-3000rpm.
Can anyone help as to where it's located?
As a bynote, can anyone just confirm to get the best power you need to drive it around 3500 > rpm? I think I may just be used to bigger engines as I'm comparing this to my Jeep 4.7 V8! Maybe not a good comparison but the Jeep seems so much faster even though it's a much bigger car.
Any ideas? Would getting a guy to put it on a rolling road show anything? Could a VAG-COM show any figures to how it's running (I have the shareware version and a cable)
Ideas?
Thanks
Ed
