stupid question re: single light grill

ok, here it goes, i'm very new to this golf game, as in picking up car on sunday! so be patient!

i'm wanting to get a single light de-badged grill for my GTI which currently has the standard grill in place. just wondering what happens to the other lights???
i'm confused how you can go from 4 lights at the front down to just 2, but i know i want too!

i know, i know, i'm a complete retard but had a look round the other posts and couldnt find an answer.

You simply unplug them. The outer lights that you have do both low and high beam anyway. The smaller lams just come on with full beam to help the outers out.

the inner lamps are attached to the grill and will come away with it, the outer light units will stay attached to the front panel

as said above, the inner lights are attached to the grille. I found that when I got a single light grill and crystal head lights that i had better visibility on full beam anyway as the lens was clear.
