mk3 gl written off

following a accident 2 weeks ago it looks like the golf is going to be written off i have been trying to find a book price for it so that i can make a rough estimate of what the insurance should offer me. the car had just gone past the 200'00 point it had mot until June 07 and tax until Jan 07 and was in fairly good nick any ideas of what the book price is

well i think the book price depends entierly upon the extent of the damage. considering how stingy insurance companies are and to say it's done 200,000 miles i dont think they will offer you very much. However you can always buy it back off them and then break it for parts, you may get more money by doing that.
