V Power!!!
« on: 28 August 2006, 22:05 »
Went to fill up at shell today, and after filling my car the last two times with optimax wanted to fill it for a third time as it was really starting to make a difference.....noticed there was no more optimax  what i did find though was V Power, shells replacmant for it..Filled up £40 worth and went to pay, the guy inside told me it was the new 99 ron fuel and better than the old 98 ron optimax, also that it contained more detergents to clean the engine........wonder what this is gonna do to my mk3 valver?
Anyone else used it yet?

funny you should mention this as I filled up with some V-Power before. I was really confused when I pulled onto the forecort and didnt see the optimax label on the pump.

I hope its good this stuff as I used to swear by optimax.

i noticed it was a bit cheaper than optimax was recently, maybe they are pricing it down to get you to use it then bump the price back up after we have all been running our cars on it for a month!
