my car does run, but sometimes it wont start, i think its an electrical fault...any ideas what it could be

if you havent already fixed this fault then i have an idea what it could be as i have experienced the same thing.
it could be that your earth cable running from your battery to your gearbox is not making a connection.it could be that its just needing cleaned so that its making contact.

if the cable is knackered then a temporary solution is to connect a negative jump lead from your neggative outlet on battery and then connect the other side of the cable to a part of the engine block.this will earth it and will help u get it to where ur going.this only temp remember.
